Fencers Club London (FCL) was established in Palmers Green, North London in 2015 as a London foil fencing club and elite training centre for the next generation of British fencers. Created with the vision of our head coach, Dominique Szokolovics, and Competition Coach, Ben Peggs, Fencers Club London (FCL) was developed as the fencing club they wish they’d had access to whilst developing their own careers. With the addition of Polish Champion and Olympic fencer, Pawel Osmanski, as our Performance Coach, Fencers Club London is the future of fencing.
In 2016 our sister club, FCL Herts, formally Three Rivers Young Blade, was merged into the main club.
At Fencers Club London you can train to an excellent standard, to compete nationally and internationally. Whether your dream is to stand on the Olympic podium, or you wish to use the grit and resilience gained in our fencing salle to strengthen your confidence and character, Fencers Club London will help you achieve your goals.
To that end, we have a dedicated team of coaches. They have all been on the same journey from beginner to international fencer, and don’t just teach fencing technique, but all aspects of fencing from basic footwork to mental skills and competition tactics. Moreover, they also develop strength and conditioning, as well as nutrition and armoury skills to a high standard, and thereby nurture a well-rounded fencer.
Currently based at the The Royal Masonic School, in Rickmansworth. Fencers Club London is fast becoming one of the most highly regarded North London Fencing Club, with our fencers winning various titles both nationally and internationally.
We run regular fencing camps in London, please see our training camps page for more details.
