Coming from Qatar, I have attended multiple training sessions in different clubs, but I have never felt like I belonged to any of them. However joining FCL was one of the best decisions I have made during my 4 years in the UK. I was welcomed by an amazing coaching staff and members of the club. I found my self improving and maturing as a person and a fencer. The coaches there have always offered their help and would go above and beyond for their athletes. The club even helped me with my education journey, where they allowed me to work in the club and competitions as a coach to gain real life experience.

In those 4 years that I spent at Fencers Club London, the coaches and the athletes there helped me improve to reach an FIE ranking of 46 in the world at junior level. Looking back at the time I spent there, I can only think of positive memories and joy. I will always be happy and proud that I was a member of this club.
