Summer International Sparring Camp

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to train with FCL at our Summer International Sparring Camp 2024, located in a new location at St Helen’s School Sports Centre in Northwood. We are pleased to announce that we have international fencers joining us from the GB, Polish, Italian, German and Hungarian National Fencing Teams.

The FCL Summer International Sparring Camp offers a dynamic 5-day program tailored for advanced fencers. Our objective is to cultivate a competitive atmosphere, bringing together fencers from leading European nations to spar and train alongside GB fencers in London. Our aim is to inspire our participants to set and exemplify high standards for younger generations. Guided by FCL coaches and Keith Cook, every session is geared towards elevating the camp's quality. The inclusion of strength and conditioning sessions is geared towards equipping athletes for the physical rigors of fencing, complemented by group cool-downs and mindfulness sessions to aid in recovery. We strive to emulate the intensity of international competitions during our training sessions, while ensuring enjoyment so that all our fencers leave with unforgettable memories.

Cadet, Junior and Senior Camp

Requirements: Minimum age - 14 years, minimum experience - 2 years competitive fencing.

Date: 19th - 23rd August

Refund Policy - This is a very high level, competitive camp. Refunds will only be issued on medical grounds and with a doctors letter.

T-shirts - You will receive a free camp t-shirt if you attend three or more days.

Accommodation - We can provide accommodation for international and non London based fencers (over 18 only). Please indicate on the form below if you need accommodation and we will be in touch with more information. Accommodation is based on shared rooms and includes breakfast. Please note - spaces are limited so it is first come, first served.
